Individual counseling is an opportunity to improve mental health in a confidential, caring space. Our counselors use relational and solution-focused methods while attending to the developmental, identity-related, and mental health concerns of students.
Individual counseling sessions typically last 50 minutes, and providers work with students to address emotional, psychological, interpersonal, academic, or other issues that cause distress. Most students attend between one and four sessions to address their concerns.
Every new client starts with a phone screening to collaboratively determine your needs and connect you to the best resources. There is no charge for this appointment. To schedule a phone screening, call 608-342-7107 (ext 7071)
